SERPM 6.5.3 incorporates accident analysis based on crash reports from the FDOT Traffic Operations Office. It includes all changes and improvements made in the previous versions. Major changes include revised Highway Evaluation step to report accident rates and costs by region, corridor, area type, and facility type, for the entire modeling area or for the subarea/windowed area of interest; additional network attributes; fixes on the Trip Distribution Multistep Distributing Process (MDP); and corrections in Subarea Modeling/Reporting steps. Please refer to documents included in \doc folder for details.
To install the model, unzip the file you downloaded, it will create a self installation .exe file. Double click the exe file and follow instructions on the screen.
Please note that this model is an updated version of the model released on 4/30/13. It includes two error fixes made in September 2013. One relates to selected link analysis, the other relates to peak period trip distribution.
