Multi-Resolution Training Course Announcement

The FDOT Forecasting and Trends Office will offer a 1.5-day training course in three locations:

Multi-Resolution Modeling

  • Feb 13-14, 2018 - Miami, Engineering Campus of the Florida International University.
    Feb 13: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and Feb 14: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

  • April 10-11, 2018 - Orlando, FDOT District 5 Orlando Urban Office, Lake Apopka A.
    April 10: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and April 11: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

  • April 17-18, 2018 - Tampa, FDOT District 7 Headquarters
    April 17: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and April 18: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Course Description

Multi-Resolution Modeling
This 1.5-day course will provide an overview of multi-resolution modeling, applications, and recommended practice of the process. Instructions will be included for implementing advanced practice modeling within districts. It will also include the multi-level simulation analysis, dynamic traffic assignment, and the necessary data to support the multi-resolution analysis. Supporting FDOT planning staff will be introduced to assist those with further questions and needs. This class will be delivered in lecture format without hands-on computer exercises, making it ideal for managers and other non-modelers.
