Model Task Force Meeting Announced

The Model Task Force tri-chairs are pleased to announce that the Florida Model Task Force will meet in Orlando November 9-10, 2009. This meeting--the first in two years for the full task force--will be an important opportunity for us to discuss many vital decisions about the future of modeling in Florida. We urge you to make a special effort to attend this meeting and lend your voice to the discussions.

The Model Task Force and its committees will discuss ongoing and proposed work to address model enhancement priorities resulting from a recent FDOT survey of MTF members. Other agenda items will include state and federal legislation, standardization issues, Cube/Voyager updates, training, and support. Also under discussion will be the future leadership of the Florida Model Task Force.

We are still developing the agenda but we anticipate committee meetings November 9, beginning at 8:30 or 9 AM. The full task force will meet the afternoon of November 9 and all day November 10. Please begin to make your plans now.
