New FSUTMS Online Training Site

The FDOT Systems Planning Office is pleased to announce the release of our new FSUTMS Online Training site. Online web-based training is now available for the FSUTMS Executive Summary Seminar, and the FSUTMS Comprehensive Modeling Workshop. These online workshops will provide modelers, planners, and engineers the modeling training they need when they cannot attend in-person training events.

The FSUTMS Executive Summary Modeling Seminar is a half-day workshop designed for managers and other non-modelers who review travel demand model outputs. Participants will learn the underlying theories of modeling and see the benefits of Cube's abilities to produce presentation graphics for reports and meetings. This online workshop includes an optional registration/login system for those who would like to receive a certificate of completion and, for Florida professional engineers, four professional development-hour credits.

The FSUTMS Comprehensive Modeling Workshop is a multi-day course designed to train beginning- to intermediate-level model operators. The workshop provides an overview of the transportation planning process, travel demand forecasting methodologies, and FSUTMS modules and data requirements. The workshop includes a series of hands-on exercises demonstrating the FSUTMS Cube Voyager software.
