FDOT D4 will provide 2.5 hour training on the region's STOPS planning model implemented for transit corridor studies. The model covers three counties in Southeast Florida: Miam-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. It has been made available to the region's public agencies and consultants for generating transit ridership forecasts on the upcoming fixed guideway projects in the region, including Bus Rapid Transit, LRT, HRT, commuter rail and streetcar projects.
The training will focus on the following topics:

The training will be held at FDOT D4 HQ Auditorium (3400 Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309) on March 10, 2017. Although not required for the training, attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop containing model files from a previously run regional STOPS model.
