The FDOT Transit Office recently released the Guidebook for Florida STOPS Applications. This Guidebook focuses on the data preparation and approach issues critical for the successful development of STOPS applications, and on interpreting and applying the STOPS outputs to fulfill the travel data requirements for New/Small Starts projects and other transit planning studies. The Florida Department of Transportation will be holding training course designed for Florida Standard Urban Transportation Model Structure (FSUTMS) users who want training for scripting in the Cube environment. The FSUTMS Scripting I Workshop focuses on basic scripting techniques for the beginning to intermediate user. It will introduce the basic CUBE script functionality and allow the user to build effective and efficient scripts to solve a variety of computational tasks. The course will be interactive and allow the participants to write and execute their own scripts.

AASHTO needs your input for the elimination of tables in the CTPP. They have employed a methodology to suggest tables for elimination, however, a key feature of the methodology (google analytics for number of times a data table is accessed at any geography) does not take into account any users who have accessed the data by any means other than through the software. All "power users" who have downloaded data by FTP take note. Your use is not captured, and your input is necessary!
CTPP is hosting a series of "town hall" meetings to present findings and get your input and feedback.
