New Training Course: Data Mining for Transportation Modeling

This online training is an introductory course on the various public data sets used for travel demand modeling, including data for both passenger and freight modeling. Data sets to be covered will be from sources such as the Census Bureau, FHWA, Bureau of Labor Statistics, as well as Florida-specific data sources that are useful for model estimation, calibration, and validation. The full training course contains six 1.5-hour increments to be held online on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings during two consecutive weeks in June.
