I-95 Vehicle OD Survey Results and Draft Final Report (April 2010)

Background
FDOT-D4, Planning and Environmental Management (PL&EM) Office conducted a vehicle origin-destination (OD) mail-back/on-line survey along I-95 in the Treasure Coast counties in April 2010. Similar surveys have successfully been conducted along I-95 in Broward and Palm Beach Counties in 2008 and along I-75 in Broward County in 2009. The info relevant of the subject OD survey is giving as follows:
- Purpose/Need
To support the development of FDOT and local government's projects, upcoming I-95 PD&E studies, the Treasure Coast LRTP, and the Greater Treasure Coast Regional Planning Model.
- Study Area
From SR-706/Indiantown Rd (Exit 87) to CR-509/Wickham Rd (Exit 191).
- Survey Period
During AM & PM Peaks within 4/13 - 4/15 & 4/20 - 4/22, three to four interchanges at a time on a given day.
During the survey period, surveyors handed out survey forms at I-95 off-ramps and/or downstream intersections with signalized control. Recruited individuals in the sampling process then participated in the OD survey by answering questions given on the form or on-line. The responsible personnel for the survey are:
