A SERPM 8 Model Training was held on October 27, 2020 for RTTAC-MS Member Agency Staff.
Training Objectives:
- Review SERPM 8 model structure and how it works
- Hands-on examples and homework related to running the model
- Details on specific topics requested by agencies
The training covers the following information.
Part 1:
- High level introductions to topics
- Basics of running model (Cube, CT-RAMP)
Part 2:
- Preparing and coding networks for model scenarios
Part 3:
- Preparing socioeconomic/land use data inputs
- Site impact analysis
Part 4:
- Other topics (select link, zone splitting, TNC modeling, air quality)

- The first decimal place (5) - The last digit of the base year (2015)
- The second decimal place (0) - The last digit of the release year (2020)
- The last decimal place (4) - The quarter of the release year
This version is compatible with Cube 6.4.5 and includes CT-RAMP.

Southeast Florida conducted a household travel survey in 2015/2016. The survey covered the region of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. 1,954 households and 3,838 persons reported their travel for one or two days. This dataset contains the characteristics of these sample households and persons and their travel activities. The sample data served as the groundwork to develop the parameters for the Southeast Florida Regional Planning Model (SERPM) Version 8.

This version is fully compatible with Cube 6.4 and includes CT-RAMP and input networks updates.

SERPM7 users who have installed SERPM7 using Cube 6.1 need to do the following:
- Uninstall Citilabs/Cube 6.1 by going to the Control Panel > Programs and Features or using the uninstall option within the start menu
- After windows uninstallation process, delete any Citilabs folder from both the Program Files and Program Files (x86) folder
- Uninstall VoyagerAPI
- Download Cube 6.4.1 and install it
- Install VoyagerFileAPIInstaller.msi from updates.zip
- Replace the VoyagerFileAccess.dll in three places (with the new VoyagerFileAccess.dll from updates.zip)
- a. C:\Program Files\Citilabs\VoyagerFileAPI
- b. C:\serpm7\ctramp
- c. C:\serpm7\ctramp\application
- Update the following files in C:\serpm7\cube\HEVAL from updates.zip
- a. EVNET00F.S
- b. EVNET00O.S
- c. EVNET00W.S
- d. EVNET00Z.S
- e. SANET00D.S
- 8. Update the following two files with the Cube 6.4 location of voyager ("C:\Program Files\Citilabs\CubeVoyager\Voyager.exe")
- a. runCreateDemandMatrices.cmd
- b. runCreateAccessFiles.cmd
